Vynkify Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Vynkify. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vynkify mobile application and related services (“Services”).

By creating an account or using Vynkify, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

Vynkify is available only to users aged 13 years and above.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly allow use by individuals under 13.

2. Account Registration

To use Vynkify, you must create an account using:

• Email and password, or

• Third-party authentication (Google, Apple, or Facebook)

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

• All activities that occur under your account

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

3. Use of the Services

Vynkify allows you to:

• Create and manage tasks, habits, and goals

• Track expenses and financial activity

• Collaborate with others in shared Vynks (groups)

• Optionally connect Gmail accounts through Inbox sync to receive suggested financial transactions derived from authorized email content

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or enter into Vynkify, including tasks, habits, notes, and financial data (“User Content”).

4.2 License to Vynkify

By using the Services, you grant Vynkify a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services.

If you connect Gmail through Inbox sync, you also grant Vynkify permission to access and process Gmail content only as described in our Privacy Policy and only for the features you enable.

4.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences arising from sharing it within Vynks or with other users.

5. Group (Vynk) Features

When you join or create a Vynk (group):

• Certain information (tasks, habits, expenses) may be visible to other group members

• You are responsible for the content you share within the group

• Vynkify is not responsible for disputes between group members

Gmail-connected data and email-derived transaction suggestions are private to your account and are not shared with other Vynk members unless you explicitly choose to share derived financial entries within a Vynk.

6. Financial Features Disclaimer

Vynkify provides tools for tracking expenses and settlements for informational and organizational purposes only.

Vynkify:

• Does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice

• Does not process payments or store bank or card details

• Is not responsible for financial decisions made based on the app’s data

You are solely responsible for verifying financial information and settling payments independently.

6.1 Optional Gmail Integration (Inbox Sync)

Vynkify offers an optional Gmail integration that allows you to connect one or more Gmail accounts through Profile → Inbox sync.

If you choose to connect Gmail:

• You authorize Vynkify to access your Gmail account using read-only permissions (gmail.readonly) through Google OAuth

• Vynkify may read email metadata and message content only to detect financial transactions such as bank alerts, payment confirmations, receipts, and subscription notices

• Detected items may appear as suggested transactions that you may review, modify, accept, or reject

• Vynkify does not send, modify, delete, or compose emails on your behalf

• You may disconnect Gmail at any time through Profile → Inbox sync → Revoke, and you may revoke access through Google Account permissions

Suggested transactions are automated aids only. You remain responsible for reviewing and confirming all financial records before relying on them.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for illegal or fraudulent purposes

• Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you

• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers

• Upload harmful, abusive, or malicious content

• Reverse engineer or attempt to exploit the Services

• Connect Gmail accounts you do not own or are not authorized to access

• Use Gmail integration to scrape, bulk-export, or resell email content

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms

• Misuse the Services

• Engage in unlawful activity

• Misuse Gmail integration or connected third-party services

We may also terminate accounts to comply with legal requirements.

Upon suspension or termination, your access to the Services may end immediately. Gmail connections may be revoked and associated data handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time using the in-app account deletion feature.

Upon deletion:

• Your account is immediately deactivated

• You lose access to all Services

• Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days

• Any active Gmail connections are revoked and associated Gmail-derived data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Deleting your Vynkify account does not delete your accounts with Apple, Google, or Facebook. You must manage those accounts directly with the respective providers. Revoking Vynkify’s access to Gmail through Google does not by itself delete your Vynkify account.

10. Intellectual Property

All Vynkify trademarks, logos, designs, and software are the property of Vynkify or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Vynkify may integrate with third-party services, including Google (for sign-in and optional Gmail access), Apple, and Facebook.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. Where you connect Gmail, your use is also subject to Google’s terms and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Vynkify is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services. We do not control Google, Apple, Facebook, or other third-party platforms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vynkify is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

• Accuracy or reliability of content, including suggested transactions derived from Gmail

• Availability or uninterrupted access to the Services or third-party integrations

• Suitability for your specific needs

Automated detection of transactions from email may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should verify all financial information independently.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vynkify shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

• Disputes between users

• Errors or omissions in suggested transactions or other automated outputs

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website.

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
